Tomas Santibanez Bustos is a composer, producer, and sound designer for films, documentaries, tv, video games and digital media. Through his music, he has developed an active career with projects for important platforms, such as: Netflix, Prime Video, HBO, RTVE and others. He has composed in several musical genres including orchestral music, drama, suspense, music for children, acoustic, folk, and many more. 

Winner of best original soundtrack at the Fuentes de Ebro Festival with the music for the short film "Quemarlo Todo" of the director Miguel Casanova.

Tomas studies musical composition and arrangements at the Escuela Moderna de Música y Danza in Viña del Mar, Chile. For five years he teaches guitar and piano at School of Rock Chile, while working in his first films and media projects. Also, as session musician for several bands, he has te opportunity to play at the biggest stages and festivals of the country. 

 

In 2018 he moves to Valencia, Spain, to study a master's degree in music for film, television and video games at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. This takes him to Madrid, where he collaborates with different composers and gets to learn how the professional industry works, developing an expert musical sense and great collaboration skills.

Nowadays, Tomas works in different projects composing music in a variety of styles, working side by side with directors, producers and other fellow composers. Always having as main goal to create the best soundtrack to enhance the story and take it to the next level.

His most recent credits as a composer and collaborator are:
